Took around 3 days to model and texture.

This is a really interesting piece. nice job on the model, render and composition. I like the touch of the pen in addition to the magnifying glass. Only wierd thing is that grey splotch on the right of the magnified part, what is that? I thought it might be the shadow between the pages but somehow it looks off.

Awesome magnifying glass. What kind of material did you use to create the magnification.... a transparent refraction map?

its just a standard material in c4d (not preset), transparency settings were
refractive index - 1.5
brightness 95%
