Castor/Zuse cosplay from TRON: LegacyCostume completed in approximately 2/3 days.
Identity disk was the toy that I then gutted, repainted and refitted with brighter LEDs. Costume was patterned by myself including inset panels for both the grey and white material used. Reflector tape was then used for the 'glowing' panels. Cane was a solid rod of perspex heat shaped and an LED torch fitted into the handle to get it to glow.
Costume was worn to Melbourne Supanova where I was awarded Runner Up Best Costume XD yayyy

am curious though...did you heat up the cane with a regular heat gun, or partially in the oven?

Great job on getting the cane curved at like a perfect 90 degrees. I made my own cane but its the curve isn't perfect.

OMFG How Much Did It Cost To Do This and Where Abouts would I Go To Find Certain Things??? I've watched the movie numerous times and all I wanna do now is cosplay him. I can't even think of another cosplay to do cause I'm so caught u- I'm just gonna stop rambling now... Sorry... *Favourites*

i just bought everything i needed at my local fabric stores, wig i already had from another cosplay and just restyled, disk i bought and modified and the cane i made from scratch. then it was really just the makeup that i did on the day.

the cane? was just a rod of perspex that i heat shaped to give it the handle part, then attached a small led torch onto the handle so it lit up the rest of the cane. perspex has great light carrying properties!

there really wasnt much to making it, all i did was buy a rod of perspex and use a heat gun on it until i could bend it to have the curve of the handle. then i went around and found a small LED torch about the same size as the perspex/torch and put that over the top and painted silver.
