Character - RavenSeries - Zoids Guardian Force
Cosplay made and worn by myself.
Ok this was a cosplay that I always wanted to do just because it was such a fav childhood series of mine.
Overall was EXTREMELY rushed and done in about 8 hours or so to get it done by Melb Animania.

lol it really wasnt a lot of work, needed to be done EXTREMELY quickly so i bought a blue pair of work overalls and then sewed the rest of the details. purple and brown bit was like a basic jacket then everything else was just done as needed and attached, armour was cut out of foam sheets, heat shaped and spraypainted silver. all done in one crazy night of very little sleep

Also, we should totally get you into a proper photoshoot. I suggest taking a weekend down at you guys' house and a buttload of costumes and doing nothing but shoots. xD

lol thanks! i had a hard time trying to find anyone that had cosplayed raven so that was my chance!
the brown material was this new type of leather look suede that spotlight only recently got in stock so i was keen to try it out, then all the armour was just foam cut and heated to shape and spraypainted.

i loved to see a zoids cosplay for once i loved the show wen i was a kid xp

yeh zoids def needs more cosplay love, its hard though when they're the main focus is giant animalistic mechs
trust me i couldnt believe i got it done in like 7 hours either considering how much i procrastinated by constantly checking D.A and Facebook to see if there was anyone else online at like 4am hehehe

hehehe thankies, but yeh it really was a just for fun cosplay, i guess i couldve spent more time on it but then again i was working on props and such for people that week and reallllyyyyy i was happy since the guys that won best male and runner up both had either costume or props made by me
plus i was busy with a lot of commission work for other people's supanova outfits which is the con i'm really looking forward to!

funnily enough it was one of my most comfortable cosplays ever! lol
only thing was that it felt weird wearing a cosplay without a weapon or anything to pose with

Im used to cosplays without props... how do you lug one around all day? It seems bothersome.

lol it just doesnt feel like a completed cosplay for me without a weapon somehow, maybe i shouldve quickly made a giant mech zoids to travel to the con in ahahahaha
