Description The WIP stages for this image - [link]

It was the clients wishes to change the face at one stage and swap the cigar hand over. You can see the reference images I used throughout and quite often I will lay them out this way ( mostly I put them on my other monitor but old habits die hard )

Smoke texture and plaster texture from cgtextures.com

Awesome WIP. Thanks for showing that. What was the process for the pin striping on the suit if and when you have a minute.

The illustration is fantastic as well. Great work.

Thanks

For the pinstripes, on a separate layer:

1) Draw loads of straight white lines
2) merge those lines together if you used the line tool
3) lay over the area you want the pinstripes
4) Use the warp tool. Edit>Transform>warp to shape to the area needed
5) set it to overlay and reduce the opacity to about 10% ( or whatever you feel is best )
6) clean up excess lines with eraser

Hope that helps?
