Thanks Driany. Seems like a big favourite, this one. Its so cool to get coment from all around the world!

A Gypsy woman once told me my work would be known around the world. Now I know she was talking about the rise of the internet, not fame and fortune and cars and cash for myself

the drawing is excellent. but for some reason the thing i really like is the white space... weird...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AndyHep In reply to vnbenedicto [2008-03-10 08:27:44 +0000 UTC]

The illo bleeds into the text space, which is why there's sudden white on one side. Glad you like it, Zahntelmo

ahhh, i see... still its great how that contrast of white sort of makes it look... cooler, than if it was just filled with details. heh

I Played a little of the old Changeling, but not the new edition unfortunately. I think it's one of my most original works, and i want to try harder to do more work like this.

I would love to SEE more work like this!
I play the old "Changeling - The Dreaming" with my friends for three years now, and we enjoy it very much. I haven't even look inside the new books ...
Kindest regards! Aimée

Looking back to February, when it was drawn, I have no idea why the feathers were included. Perhaps i concluded that the changeling (who has a fur collar/cuffs too) used things familiar to her in her dream shaping? Woods/animals/birds? Or maybe I just thought it was a nice design element?

Sereda [2007-11-23 21:49:56 +0000 UTC]

Beautiful work, I keep coming back to this. Your changeling somehow looks familiar, which I have to admit I find rather creepy. Though I don't suppose this wasn't meant to be a particularly comfortable or reassuring image, was it? I really like the effect of the snow on the branches.
Do you mind me asking why the feathers? Any particular reason you included them?

Hi Andy,

I love this composition, and the detail in there. A very nice piece.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AndyHep In reply to RalphHorsley [2007-08-15 07:27:08 +0000 UTC]

Cheers. It was fun do something with design elements in it, and not just do a picture alone for a change. A tricky brief, but sometimes that pays off.

Oftentimes it's when we feel pushed that something can come together. Also it is often when I enjoy working more, when don't feel I am repeating myself.
