Nature's Embrace, card artwork for AEG's Legend of The Five Rings.Although I struggle initially with the layout and content of this illo, the actual task was quite a lot more free-flowing than I expected. I did think the streaming hair and energy was over the top at the time, but probably got it about right - where pattern and effects are concerned I think you have to go all out. Enjoy!

Oh wow, the lighting effects on her face and the silk robe is a skill I am very envious of. And her expression is both unique and gorgeous! Such a look of intense concentration and focus. The details are very striking and exquisitely drawn. The patterns are fantastic, really enriching.

Splendidly vivid artwork in expression of the lovely lady, the action flowing through her and the colors used depict this. Her gown is gorgeous and she looks like an excellent girl to meet somewhere - when she gets her hair in order.

Excellent word Andy, you've conveyed a very powerful 'vibe' with this image. The flowing hair and glowing aura really suggests great power and awe.
