I never judge a book by its cover but it can be difficult to ignore one so beautiful. I saw this while browsing through Borders and came across this book. I picked it up and looked through the description. I put it back on the shelf but came back to it two more times before I left the store. A week later I returned with a coupon and bought the book, mostly for the cover but I did do a little research on the author and decided to give it a try. Brandon Sanderson is now one of my favorite fantasy authors and I might not have ever learned of his work were it not for your incredible cover illustration. Very excited to see your work here!

Still so very grateful for this cover. If it weren't for how beautifully the cover conveyed the color motifs and themes that the book contained, I'd probably not have stopped long enough to buy it, and I'd have consequently missed out on a wonderful novelist's work.
