Lovely painting. No offense but the plant behind her legs looks like a green vagina.

Sorry I wrote that, sometimes I say or write things without thinking. It's part of my autism.

Thank you! I haven't had much time to practice painting, but I can't wait to get back into it.

Makes me think PI needs to be paired with a Georgia O'Keefe flower painting.

Congratulations!, i liked your work a lot. Poison Ivy is one of my favourites too. So, i can say you captured her very essence, the look and perfume of a dangerous flower.
P.S. very witty and clever the flower detail on the background

Agh, Andy. I envy your creative explosion of the past few weeks. This is amazing...you seem to be improving at mach speed now. I especially love the suggestive plant in the background. And after you gave me so much crap about my magnolia seed pod drawing! Haha...Okay, really, this is awesome. Keep painting and keep improving!

Yeah but my suggestive shape is intentional hahaha. And thanks for your comment and I hope that you find the motivation you need to get right back into kicking my butt.

I only have your picture to go on. I have never read a Batman comic which features Poison Ivy as a villain, and I have not seen the film in which the character was played by, I think, Uma Thurman. But Poison Ivy is a Batman villain. I do know that much. So she has to be antipathetic to Batman. And given the theme of your picture and what I previously wrote about the pencilled version of this piece, I would suggest that Batman has a latent fear of female sexuality and that fear is represented for him in the character of Poison Ivy.

By the way, if what I have written above is correct - and there is no guarantee that it is - then it makes Batman more interesting and more complex as a character, rather than less so.

It's not really the case. Joker is the antipathic character to Batman. Poison Ivy's strength as a villain is that she can seduce Batman, or those around him into doing her bidding. She can lure him into things he doesn't want to do. She can Lure his allies to fight against him.

Oh, right. So her power is that of seduction. That makes sense of the picture...
