        - 6th Form: Dance of Frost (Roku no Kata: Shimo no Mai [ 陸ノ型霜の舞 ]) - Created by Masae. Based on a traditional dance, the swordsman in a way dances while attacking the opponent in quick succession, delivering multiple blows.

Personality
Masae is a kind and sweet person, always willing to help whenever she can. She caries herself elegantly and rarely lets anyone see anything else as she was taught to do so during her time as a Maiko. Though underneath her mask she's easily excitable and a bit of a dork. She enjoys sweets and cute things and absolutely loves it when it snows but makes sure to not let it be obvious.
Masae is quite closed off despite her kindness and willingness to help, she doesn't like being pitied or being considered weak so she rarely speaks of her experiences and strives to be strong enough so that she won't have to loose anyone again.

Backstory
Masae was born to rather poor parents who decided to leave her at an Okiya soon after she was a year old, they did this so their daughter could have a chance at a better life than they could provide. Due to this, Masae has only known the women at said Okiya to be her family. Though she didn't officially become a Maiko until she was 14, she did start learning earlier, mostly to help around the Okiya and not be in the way of anyone, and when she did turn 14, she officially became a Maiko and her training started in earnest, it was a difficult time for her as it was tiring on her body and mind but she wouldn't let that stop her so she kept going, but when she was 15, her 'Onee-san' fell deathly ill and no doctor could offer any sort of cure. One day a strange man showed up (Muzan) and offered to turn her into a demon, though Masae's 'Onee-san' was skeptical at first, Masae convinced her to agree to it, of course not knowing what it would entail. right around the time her 'Onee-san' was being turned, Masae used the opportunity since she wasn't in her Maiko kimono, to sneak out and buy her mentor a gift since she believed she would be getting better. She decided to buy a Haori as it was still in fashion and hoped it would suit her 'Onee-san' at least, but as she got back to the Okiya, she discovered a gruesome scene. Masae saw those she had considered family, slaughtered and their bodies torn. Frozen due to the shock, Masae barely registered that her 'Onee-san', now a demon, was about to attack her, but she was saved by Chikafusa Benjiro, the frost pillar at the time, who quickly dealt with the demon. Masae could barely process what had just happened and of course asked Benjiro a lot of questions which he answered, explaining everything she asked. Now with nowhere to go and since she had never become a full fledged Geisha, Masae was at a loss, looking at the carnage around her she asked Benjiro if he would be willing to teach her to slay demons as he does. Skeptical at first, Benjiro asked her if someone like her, raised in such a luxurious place, would be able to handle being a swordsman. Masae promised that she could handle it as the training of a Maiko was not to be taken lightly, with that Benjiro took her in and started training her in the breath of Frost. A year and a half of training and Masae finally went to the final selection and became a demon slayer, gaining a uniform of her own and donning the Haori she wanted to give to her 'Onee-san' as well as taking her name as a surname. The one thing she left with Benjiro before heading off on her own, was a Wisteria Kanzashi that used to belong to the mother of the house, asking him to keep it safe for her. Whenever she could she would both train with her swords as well as traditional dances and tea ceremonies as it makes her feel at peace. the dances she eventually incorporated into the breath of frost and created two new forms.
