The technique in this photo stands for itself; the light is clear, textures and details are clearly visible, and the foreground is in focus, while the background not. The composition is fairly dynamic, too, using asymmetry while maintaining a pleasant sense of balance. The light is clear, but pushing it to its extremes might give the photo a bit more edge. Darkening the image so that the three foreground figures play in and out of the shadows might be interesting. Otherwise, lightening only the foreground figures might make them advance.
The figure on the left, a balding man in a denim shirt, possibly a blue-collar worker, points a finger accusingly at a pair of officials, probably police officers. One of the officials has a badge on his hat, possibly of an eagle. The other wears riot gear. The photo might be a social commentary, deploring the mistreatment of the working classes. But whatever its intended message, the photo appears to be a social statement with a story to tell.
Clarifying the setting and the figures’ roles might make the photo more compelling. Even mentioning where and when the photo was shot could be helpful. Viewers might relate more to the lefthand-figure’s anger if they knew why he was so angry.
Unfortunately, as a photo, some revisions are not feasible, so I apologize if some of my feedback is not helpful, but I do hope that some of this proves useful. In any case, with or without any changes, you have a strong photo that you should be proud of.
