Actually stated, Zorua was supposed to be lying on a wall, dangling a little, but in the end I gave up on the wall issue and drew some kind of box
Anyway!
Just trying to get into Digital Art again.
Zorua was just a try, but I also wanted to draw him
I find him incredibly cute! ~
even though it's evolved form gives me the creeps.It will never evolve in my Game
The Pose looks weird, it was a try out, but hey! At least something different!
The colouring itself looks sloppy, but I cannot figure out how to use lines on GIMP yet, I just do everything by hand.

I want to improve drastically during the next few months. Though I know progress will be real slow
I have already started a Chibi picture and I tried to do a good background.
They are my weak-spot at the moment and I want to improve my trail of thought about them.

I think your colors were great the only problem was the line art being a bit grey-is instead of the solid black, but hey that's just fine ^^ it was a cute pose and expression and detail as well! Heute Vormittag was ich so niedergeschlagen DX

When you try to read someones Journal, go to their page or try to click on them, does your Browser show a 'Internet Failure'?

Also, I'm not sure if Gimp has this, but you should be able to set your traditional art layer to "Multiply", then make a layer under it and it should be much easier to color :3

I do that with shading
GIMP is pretty easy to figure out when it comes to Layers, but sadly the rest isn't as easy for me
I have my Line Art, I then place 3 more Invisable Layers on the top and switch them from Normal to Multiply. That way I can use one colour at the bottom, the next darker shade on the top and another darker shade if I need too.
The lighter effects come from a tool...cannot remember its name.
Ah! The background!
Hey Lottie, do you actually know how to make the background not visible in the main picture if you colour it?
I try, but when I start colouring the colour goes into the main picture as well.

I actually really liked Zorua after a while.
At first I was really sceptical about it, but now I see them a little more with open eyes.
I try my best, but some things just do not work out.

Not work when drawing, but a hell lot of work when colouring. I find pencil works easier to do than Digital ones
