This piece is great. A little bit of a clichè, but still lovely.

I don't have a comment that's as quite as elaborate as Zephyr there, but I have to say that I saw the second version with the corset first, loved it, saw this one just now, and can't decide what it is about the two that makes me love them equally.
In the first, the corset provides a harsh contrast which I think adds to the image, and goes along quite well with the title. This one is softer, but seems to me to provide an even stronger message of desperation, and I think the order that I saw them in amplifies that.
Anyways, what it comes down to, is that these images are both lovely, and thank you for sharing them

Well first of all it's absolutely beautiful - you and the rest of the piece; You can perfectly create an elegance with your partial nudity - so that it's representative of the feelings that you mean to express rather than focusing more on the nudity itself. Most/Many artists have a lot of trouble with this, but you're flawless.
This is by nature more emotional and less balanced than your second version, but it's a good thing that it's like this very important that there's a further hint of instability because there is instability and uncertainty in faced with a locked door.
It is brighter and has more of an angelic feel just because of it's lighter and more airy color scheme, and it sort of feels like the viewer is entering your soul, especially because of your nakedness and vulnerability - your door may be closed, but the viewer may just see your door opened, and find out what's inside. This matches the profile of your face, partially hidden.
Your facial expression though only with lips and the tilt of your head, shows so much, and the highlights in your hair work well to set the focal point about you.
The contrast of the bed and the wall is similar to a horizon, and the orange color makes it even look like a sunrise, you being part of the landscape, and the warm coloring is indicative of the active emotion and feeling with in you. This photograph is very much alive.
Well I don't want to repeat myself too much >.> this is sort of linked very much with your second version and I think that they go together specifically because of their differences. So more information in that comment.
As I've said before, you've made me quite a fan of your work. ^_^

This is a wonderful shot, Fran. It's very, very evocative; it calls to mind all sorts of feelings, all of which are really heart-felt. It's nice to see more work from you!
