The only things one can criticise about the armour/weapons is the fact that no one is wearing a helmet. Realistically, if you can only afford one piece of armour, it should be a helmet, because protecting your head is very important. Another thing is the fact that there are 'ridges' in the armour between the breasts, which in reality would break a woman's sternum if it were hit with any significant force. Besides those two, it all seems fine.

I agree on the helmets, but well leaving those out is not a modern day thing. Showing the face always been an important consideration so "missing" helmet (or oddly open faced helmets that weren't actually been used) have been a thing in art for centuries.
The armor construction I'm not so certain about. I admit it's a little bit over the top in here. Still it's a popular theory brought forward that ignores the fact that armor shaped more or less like this has been used for centuries, like: goo.gl/images/UgwfgB
As stated it's less extreme, but the theory that such 'bulges' and the ridge between them is a bad thing should still apply, yet those armor designs stood the test of time.
