I used to take Tae Kwon Do classes...found out there's another place teaching and decided to see if I still loved it.I DO
I miss it SO BAD
I'm going to join officially after a few more lessons to figure out where I'll be placed.
The highest ranking student was this adorable 9 year old blonde girl. She was a rank away from being black belt. I only made it to blue-to-red.
My face was incredibly sweaty by the end. It was sooo grooossss.

Ahahaha, beware the tiny experts. It's amusing watching a grown man be beaten by a 12 year old black belt (that was me) after saying it's impossible. Jiu-jitsu, btw. At my school, the highest-ranking students are two 4th degree black belts around 21 years old. Yes, I just rambled on and on, but it's cool to find another martial artist on here.

I know how this is, I took Karate/ Tae Kwon Do classes for 8 and a half years, earned my black belt and haven't gone back since. Trying to get back in to shape and practice, and man it was tough

Ugh sticking to the bottom of the feet is the worst. 13 years of martial arts and that's STILL the thing that bugs me the most.

Glad to hear you might be joining back up! I'm a Second Degree Black Belt in GA, with United Karate Studios. It rocked my world and changed my life, and I'm always happy to hear when someone decides to make the journey! Good luck, and great comic.
