[EDIT] Dude, this is the most viewed deviation in my gallery! o_o Thanks for looking, everyone!
If this is in the wrong place, then can dA kindly make it's catagory options easier to figure out? >.>
Four days and it's finally done! ^__^ Trying out something new to hopefully make my style more available to those who don't want an anime style. Here's hoping I can do this more consistantly, 'cause I had fun working on this
From a pic I sketches 2 years ago, I started it again from scratch and got to mess around with a few new techniques :3 Not much more to say, really. Hope you guys like it!

I love how you redid one of your older sketches :3 I really like this new style ^o^ I'd love to see maybe Garnet or Mana in this style~ I bet they'd look very pretty! The coloring is my favorite part of the pic. It's done very well! ^w^

Thanks! Ohh, I never thought of drawing Garnet in this style. I tried Zidane, but I really need to work on different eyes to make him look remotely good XD;;; I tried Mana but for some reason it's really tricky to draw her right like that O.o

Thank you~! ^.^ I know technically I can't say it's not anime, but a lot of people have styles more anime than that and claim it's not (plus I've seen a load of cartoons with elongated limbs around ;3). I might use it as my ID, depends on whether I want to post the same pic twice tho'

I have fallen in love with this new style you have produced patiently on your own. This may very well position itself more powerfully than the Dissidia - Poser art-trade you have given me. The handwriting is so elegant, scratchy, and is so well in variety...you must have thought carefully with this. And the wings look so fresh on the wall..someone must have just stopped by to do this before the lady showed up.
Well done, Angel. I hope you use this style more often, especially for your portfolio. It may very well attract more watchers than usual. Just keep pushing..for us and yourself.

Thank you so much! I always appreciate hearing more indepth comments, especially when I'm trying something different. I'm hoping I can work hard and be able to manage this style in a variety of different angles, characters an scenarios so it can be something unique to me ^^

Have you ever thought about making your comic Tainted Souls in this similar style? As long as you practice your background & proportional styles like this more, you will grow more and more use to it, and SURPRISE...next thing you know, you will be an even more unique artist--prayerfully with a well-paid job of what you love to do. And even fans!
But it will be a challenge during the mountain climb. Are you up for it?

I did actually considering it at one point, but I think it'll be a long time before I get to use that style in a consistant manner such as a comic, although I'm certainly considering trying to use it for a manga contest that's being held this year. They accept unconventional and more unique styles from the entries I've seen, so it seems like a good opportunity.
