Description
So I've been told these are the things nightmares are made of. I think they're cute.
Anyways, I commission these for people (as well as make them for myself). I can do basically any color head, any color eyes (they light up), and any color mouth.
If you're interested in one, feel free to message me and I'll get back to you ASAP!
P.S. The one in the back (white one) looks crooked but it's not, it's because of the fur (not something I would recommend for future builds...especially cheap white fur from Joanns).

It's a thin knit material, Joanns calls it "Jet Set". You can see through it, although not clearly...I would say it's comparable to those halloween masks you can get in which you can see out of (a bit) but not see in.

Ah, I see. I was curious because I've seen a lot of mau5 heads that you can see inside pretty well, and this one I couldn't at all. Which is a good thing! xD Thank you so much, these heads look very well made! *Q*

omg.. wait.. you sersiouyl make these heads? i swear put this aside with joel's head from the canadian shop he gets em made and i see noooo difference.. right now atm im in china but im goin 2 America for college so.... would u ship to Georgia? omgomg this is sooo coooool. i was gonna make one using a motorcycle helmet as base but thought that would just be wejrddd... i think like if i got the head i woudl put in like funky lighting and write up a midi command sequence for the lights to go up on. but once again these are damn amazing!

Yeah, I could ship to GA no problem! As for the lights..I could do it, but honestly, it's just a pain and imo, not really worth it. Not like a giant mau5 head isn't striking enough

lol, thanks! I've been doing body-shop related stuff for about 9 years. I used to do auto tuning and body work for a while, but then moved into costuming...most of the armor and prop stuff in my gallery here is all done by me (and some of the sewing, although my prop work is much better).

As for a base price, they start @ $200 for what you see above. With anything more complex (light up mouth, different fabric, etc...) I'll have to adjust it a bit.

What do you use as a base btw? A helmet of some sort right?

No problem!
I actually use a chip board base, and then fiberglass it to a solid dome. I then sand it smooth and use a foam to give it a soft exterior. I then use a thick fabric, usually fleece, and hand stitch the cover on using a baseball (or muppet) stitch.
But no, no helmet base...these are all completely hand made (well, save for the metal mesh used for the mouth but that's also covered with a fabric).

Really, the only measurement I would need is around the crown of your head (to make sure the opening is large enough)...unless you have like, a really really tiny body...lol

It's actually a techno/trance DJ (or as he calls it, producer). He performs with a giant mouse head (aka, deadmau5)...it's a gimmick but the music is pretty damn good.
