So this is a pretty funny picture if you're a fan of the Halo universe...Okay, some back-story...I was invited to attend ConComics last year in Guadalajara, Mexico. While there, someone asked if I would hold their baby for a picture, and for a Halo/Sci-Fi fan, I figured it would a pretty big deal and something they'll always remember...I know people took pictures of it, but knowing NO ONE there, I never saw the photo (and on top of that, had no clue where to look for one).
Come this year, Acen 2010, it happened again. A pretty chill guy came up and asked me for a photo which I was more than happy to oblige...and then he added, "Can I have a picture with you holding my baby?"
Score. This time I had there to capture the moment.
SO YEAH...about those Spartan II's...(for anyone who doesn't follow the Halo universe, the Spartan II's were kids who showed strong physical traits, and were kidnapped to be turned into spartans...which is why this picture is kind of hilarious if you get it...lol)

Ever since I got into Halo, I've always wanted my own suit... I think now I'd want to do a Lost Planet 2 outfit, though, and have my boyfriend be the same faction I am.

I haven't had the chance to play LP2 yet...is it better than the first? I enjoyed the first, it just seemed like they could have done some things a bit...smoother (if that makes any sense...lol).

They could have done a couple things smoother in LP2. The VSs and the immovable gun turrets move in stages, not smoothly, when a different person is in it. When your character is in it, they run smoothly, though.
There's also the issue of being shot at and not being able to move. It's a big pet peeve of mine :\ I'm not sure if that was in the first LP. But it ticks me off when I'm being shot at and I can't even crouch.

I actually made the armor...have a decent bit of experience doing fiberglass and body work on cars, so this wasn't too ahrd for me.

What type of shoulder pad is that supposed to be it looks like EVA but I could be wrong the helmet is defiantly CQB!
