Ok, another rushed page for Secret Wars event. Sorry about that guys. Looking back at all the pages I have done its been quite disappointing, so hopefully I can make up for it in the finale.You may notice parts of this from other pieces of work. Like I said, I was in a rush. lol Sorry.
Does everyone still remember Zerkov? Seems like ages since I drew him. ^_^

If this is rushed, I certainly can't complain! It's simple, yet not lazy. Another gem adding to the saga of Secret Wars.
A little dark in the background maybe, at first I thought it was just a shadowy pile of random corpses, but once I squinted a little, I could make out several familiar faces.

I say rushed because the only thing really drawn here is zerkov, the rest is re-used photoshop layers. That mass of bodies are dark to disguise the original drawing of AC standing over bodies of fallen AFL comrades, most of whom are not in SW, thats the excuse for the darkness.
Really glad you like it. Cant wait for the final chapter, all these ideas and how to do it, just worried there wont be enough time or that i wont deliver. Want it to be my best entry yet.

he does produce similar energy projectiles, but he doesnt use those in DBZ. I dont think I would do him naming his movie like the melodrama of dbz.

Really? The way you draw them look so naturual I thought doodling super dudes would be second nature to you! And I love how they have that OFFICIAL look to them, kind of reminds me of that Danny Phantom style but I'd actually ENJOY watching your stuff : ]

haha well you are too kind man. I can draw the characters static, but when you get to dynamic poses and stuff, I suck at it. I tried animating in the style before and it was messy with proportions popping etc. Just gotta keep practicing.

I've been pretty retarded only drawing with a pen for the past few years never feeling that confident to draw funky fresh poses and such, but now messing about with the pencil like a child bored at Sunday School I'm starting to make doodles I'm quite happy with : ) but I'm not sharing them all : B

Zerkov has never met Whatcha, but maybe the beyonder is just showing him a glimpse of another powerful being that could pose a challenge, rather than zerkov actually wanting to fight him.

He was caught unawares that time, and his anger unleashed a new power level which he has yet to unleash. He will expect a challenge as he has asked for it, so may take the net one very seriously.
But yeh...who knows what will happen if his ego is crushed.

The brain loves excuses. He wouldn't got caught unaware if he didn't drop his guard, but hasn't Stunboy been dropped from the storyline. I am sure Zerkov have learned his lesson, I look forward to seeing him find a worthy challenge to show the true extent to his powers. Sucks when a villian loses but becomes more of a threat before he lost.

sometimes you just have to lose for the greater good of the story. I dont mind as thats what this thing has been all about. SW isnt about 'winning'. If narratively it fits for zerkov to lose then I am open to the idea, but with an epic finale, it will be good to go all out with zerkov.

Yesah yeah, I remember your speech earlier, about having to swallowing up pride and losing sometime, especially when you are a villian in a story where heroes are typically destined to win, I guess like you said, all you can is have as much fun as you can before your downfall. It's not like Zerkov didn't profit from his lost, he awakened a new depth to his power and perhaps madness.
