i actually cannot understand this. you submit a photo and you get instantly 1.000 views and around 50 fav... yes, i admit your pictures are wonderfull, they really are.. but how come other artists out there don't get the same recognition? i wonder why..

well, they will as soon as people know them. its all a matter of watchers and whether people like your work and support you by featuring you or faving your work. look, very new deviants simply have not that much watchers. i'm here for years, have almost 4000 watchers. as soon as you get watchers, you'll get more recognition. and if youre good, you definately will. very fast. go watch e.g. ~bakhvalov . he's here for just a few weeks and already gets very much recognition. if youre good, people will recognize you, no matter how long youre here. its nothing your should wonder about, thats quite the same all over the world. in the art business, if you just care about success, youre nothing as long as noone knows you.
thats why you shouldnt care about this stuff. just enjoy the art. no matter how many people watch it. a good picture which nobody has seen yet, is still a good picture.
