This is one of the most original and creative concepts for subject matter I've seen in a long time. I really like it.
I don't feel right writing a comment without giving some C&C, though, so here goes: The photo could use a little more balance as far as colors go. The redness of the hands doesn't fit with the washed-out colors of the balloons. There's some blue in the water, towards the bottom; it might be a good idea put a little more emphasis on that; maybe saturate it or make the surrounding area more blue. You could also just desaturate the hands a little, so they're not so out-of-place. It's a great photo otherwise, though.
