Herp derp derp. Because I did not like the original title cover for Aveyond The Darkthrop prophecy.

I don't want to be such a mean person, but the original Mel one was HIDEOUS. Well, hideous to me, at least. The artist must have gone through a style shift or did not have enough time to work on it because not only does it NOT look like the previous covers he's done before, but it also looked a lot worse.

However, complaining and ranting about it at length is not helping anyone so I decided to draw a title cover that would make myself happy. At first I wanted to draw Gyendal in Darkthrop Keep because I have no idea what would happen in the game, but after playing TDP, well, I decided I should do something that is actually relevant to the game's plot. And more teaser-y Plus, it's a hell lot easier than drawing Darkthrop Keep and the forest surrounding it *shudder* I HATE TREES!!!

I'm proud to say that I Googled at least 30 different stock images just to draw this. Cathedral interior and windows, antique candlesticks, gargoyles, and floor tiles. Yeah.

To use this picture as your TDP cover:
1) Save image
2) Open the TDP folder
3) Go to Graphics>Titles
4) Delete the original image or save it somewhere else
5) Copy this picture into that folder
6) Rename picture as "Title"
