This is actually a commissioned render, sorta, there is a bit of a story to go with it.

I've recently made the acquaintance of an E-author known online as Dr. Dominator.

He has several stories online around the web, and seems to be an all around okay guy. We got to chit chatting, and long story short, came about to arranging a sort of trade.

For my part, i would provide a commissioned render of a scene of his request. Evidently what he requested was a scene of Supergirl suffering the effects of Green Kryptonite poisoning. The specific costume used was up to me, though he did request that a second figure be added to the render who was taking advantage of the situation.

This is actually not a render i would normally produce for myself. I always thought that most of the stuff I've seen of Green K poisoning looked terrible. I thought they made Supergirl look like a blond she hulk in cosplay.

That said, I was absolutely certain that i could produce a solid render of what he wanted, so I agreed.

I actually went about texturing the skin tones for this one with quite a bit of care. I worked out several versions of her with green tinge on her skin, earlier ones were produced and drafted, but he actually wanted more 'green' in her skin tone. So i bumped it up a couple of levels over a few renders to the current level of 'green' in her skin.

As for her costume, i decided to go with the 70's hot pants version of her costume. Much more practical than the skirt, and i thought they showed off her legs better. I however, hated the shoes from this costume. My original intent was to just use boots for the costume, then i thought to myself that it might be sort of cool to have them fall off her feet during the struggle, which would let me render her barefoot. I did include the slipped footwear on the render, askew and to the side to hint that they were around... somewhere.

After the main attraction was done, i added in bits and pieces of detail. Stuff like the Green K was dropped to the floor on the foreground and some 'glowing' special effects to the render to make it more obvious. Less obvious stuff that might be overlooked by a casual glance were added for my amusement. Like the thug's T-Shirt features a No Superman Logo emblem on the front, though most of it is blocked by Supergirl.

The story hints at a story in progress, which I'll leave up to your personal imaginations to determine what's going on, and what happens next.

Now this is what i did for him. This was actually what i would consider a top notch render, that went through several drafts for approval and took the better part of two days to complete. You might be wondering what is he doing for me to earn so much work out of me.

Well, he's an E-Author, so I've secured her pledge to write a 'short' story for me. I've always had what i considered a solid background for Suri, and i've tried to tell her story through renders, but really, unless i'm going to make a full length comic for her, you only get hints at what she's about.

I sat down and chatted with him for a good hour or two, discussing stuff about the character, i had most of the details ready for him, but he asked questions that were so detailed that even i had to shrug and admit that i didn't have a ready answer. Stuff like who was her mom, i had no ready answer for, or even what was Dad's first name?

Along with her biography, i sketched out a story that i've wanted to write or render out, but been too lazy to do. It takes place a few months after her arrival from earth. Skipping her encounter with Superman, and the process of her settling on Earth, learning languages, and acclimating herself to life on a new world.

It'll be a story about her first Antagonist, who i'll keep secret for now so it can be a surprise.

If all goes as planned, I'll have a story to showcase for you in the near future.
