If it weren't for that patch of grass to the right, you'd think that this was snow! It was actually boiling out there. I mean, take plenty of shade, sun screen, sunglasses and water when you go to White Sands National Monument. The sand reflects the light and heat right back at you, so you're going to wilt without any of the precautions I mentioned.

But it's very beautiful and definitely worth seeing at least once in your life!
