Gracias amigo.

Looks great. You're actually making a costume or something? Or is this a 3-D image I mistook for reality? Either way, it looks great. Though, if it is a design for a mask, how can you see through it? I hope those lenses are as functional as it looks. :-D GREAT!

The entire image is 3D
I'm glad you like it.
The two camera lenses are actually connected to your brain.
That way you can see day and night with no problem, even in special conditions ....
Je! Je!

OH! HAHA! Because if it were a masked, then requiring the lenses to be attach to your brain would be PAINFUL! You'll freak out your peeps, and even fans, when you take our your mask and they're actually ATTACHED to your brain!
How do you do that 3-D stuff? I heard you can do that on photoshop, but yet I don't quite believe it. I know you can use a type of CAD program for game design--I think it's Mayan or Gaia.
Oh, and since you're a sci-fi buff, or seems like it, can you comment on my FIRST deviation! Thanks. It was for a NASA thing I sadly didn't get accepted to this Summer. It was done on paint, but I hope you could read and understand it.

is created in 3dmax and a program called organica.
In photoshop retouched and combined were 3D representations.
I do CAD. Your image is very technical. My images are of fantasy. Note. Do not have to be governed by the parameters of reality. It is a different vision.
Thanks for writing.

Thanks for the advice. I guess I get too much into reality that I am but a "hesitant" perfectionist. Because I require "knowing" some scientific facts in order to make a design--I'm majoring in chemical engineering, so I "have" to keep my parameters within reality. HAHA!
I have to be very technical because I like engineering. But you'll be suprised that I based my design on just a few scientific facts, and already existent items in reality, and pretty much based my design off of that. My design on the bigger rover was based on a scarab beetle, while the smaller one was based on some Mech designs.
I do love science fiction because I optimistically believe we are moving towards that type of technology! As a matter of fact, NASA depicts that we will have similar technology within the next millenia when we colonize Mars.
As for your image, I know it's fantasy, but we do have current technolgy that could pretty much make "cyborgs" such as that depicted on your image. That's why it appealed to me for it's "hypothetical" reality "to be" in the distant future.

Many times I rely on insects to create my designs. is a good idea.
The truth is stranger than fiction ... almost always.
I also love the ICTP.
I curiously evades reality.
Sometimes the reality is terrifying.
I do dream fantasy things that help me to be happy.
I appreciate your interest. I'm glad you like my image. Thanks for writing.

Your welcome. If you don't mind, can I add you? I would love to use your images for referrences, and perhaps further designs--but I would have to do more research though [that's me being meticulous on my subject]. Again, great stuff. I'll be waiting for your response.

You have to ask permission to add.
I also use other reference images.
I do not understand what the research ....
I'm glad you like my work.
You know that for me is a fancy way of living ....
There are no rules and the world of reality.
Greetings!

So I can add you? Sweet! Yes. I do research because, well, I do aspire to actually produce the stuff I work on. Some simple, some home-made, and some complex. I'll add you right away.

sorry, I do not understand you at all. What do you do exactly?
π: 0 β©: 1
MacoDelo In reply to angelitoon [2010-05-02 05:17:13 +0000 UTC]
I'm sorry if I am not clear? Well I just received two responses, so here's my response back:
1) I cannot add you? I want to add you so I can always refer to your work, so I can continue to be inspired by your Sci-Fi genre.
2) As for "What I do exactly" is simply I am in school studying to be a chemical engineer. As engineers, we do "design" things similar to what architects and designers do. However, what makes us different as engineers is that we're more technical--thus the science aspect that entails "reality" as you so said is a "boundary".
But not segregate artists and technicians alike, I prefer to combine artistic and scientific concepts, and eventually design those concepts to someday manifest in our reality.
Now I'm not sure how I could be confusing you? Really, I don't mean too. Is it because I speak too much? I would gladly speak in Spanish if I could though, pero no puedo ahora. Jajajaja!

angelitoon In reply to MacoDelo [2010-05-02 08:33:12 +0000 UTC]
Of course you can add.
There are just times that I can not understand some concepts you mention.
For me it is also complicated. The language does not help me.
If it's my job ... next reference.
No problem.
I think it's great you use, not only scientific concepts but, in addition, inspires you in the fantasy.
Courage!

I think I added you. I added you as a Deviant? Is it the same? Perhaps I'm overthinking this [n00b, HAHA!] because I thought you have to send an add-request like in "FaceLift" or something. HAHA! Because if so, then I added you as a friend.
