Heartfelia's leg of the journey was one of the parts Allie was most nervous about. The Terrain was steep, and the snow was deep, but that didn't stop the obertaur mare from charging on. Allie had not had the opportunity of formally bringing Heartfelia off the farm for an endurance event yet but had sent her to be OAG certified. And boy was it paying off! She could feel the confidence her horse had in both the environment and the footing she had in the deepest parts of the snow.

Allie was surprised to see a group of wild horses when they neared Obertauren, and it led her to consider that Heartfelia just may have seen some of these herds in her time up here. The entire experience led her to see that the quirky little mare she had raised was a filly no longer. She had confidence and endurance. Burlap was also impressing Allie, she had worried he would be exhausted with the deep snow but he was smart enough to follow in the trail that Heartfelia diligently left behind.

Regardless, Allie was sure that Burlap would be looking forward to the warm bed that awaited them come the end of this journey.
