An angel's lovean angel's light
an angel's wings
surround me tonight.
An angel that I know
an angel that I see
an angel that I love
a love setting me free.
This angel of whom I speak
her faith lets me fly
on wings of hope
I float towards the sky.
and with those wings
we'll carry dreams above
above the soaring clouds
above the peaceful dove.
Though flying so high
hope becomes cold
but I feel her touch my hand
and warmth of love takes hold.
As I hold her hand
hold it tightly in mine
I know we'll make it
we shall both be fine.
Because forever i'll protect her
this angel I now call mine
from all of lifes endeavors
forever down the line.
Scars and bruises
they don't mean much
because i'll just be healed
by her angelic touch.
