Your watercolors are fabulous - so clean, vibrant and fresh. Lots of luminosity, not to mention being great depictions of the flowers themselves.

I agree with you totally on that one! But you really did a good job on capturing the rose's colour etc. My boyfriend and I always go for walks around the river and be all crazy, and when I see roses I like we'll sneak up and pick one hehe. He picks roses (in a more legitimate way) for me whenever he feels the occasion is right..which means my room always has flowers in.
It's only just spring here and so he's missed picking me flowers, and after a walk again we saw MASSES of the most gorgeous roses everywhere. Needless to say there are once again flowers in my room...

Hehe yeah...he got me orchids and I tried to press it but didnt quite work out...and picked flowers are way better than most bought ones, they smell nicer!! And they actually open unlike greenhouse grown ones >_<

I love to watch roses pass. They are a singular flower, beautiful, even when the petals are fallen and the hip swells on the stem.
