Second day of Cambodian New Year, new drawing done for the day =]

This one took me longer to do because this is a group pic, which I'm normally not good at, but I felt like taking a little break from doing the Mega Man X DiVE style drawings and do something a little different, so what I had in mind for another Cambodian New Year-themed drawing was a SonicXMega Man crossover piece featuring Amy, Cream, and Alia dressed up for the holiday with water splash everywhere over them! Now mainly I intended this to be a Cambodian New Year-themed pic as said, but I had this coming to my mind also that Songkran, Thai New Year, started the day before Cambodian New Year started, and I've fairly been fascinated by that holiday, tho I'm not Thai, but that holiday still sounds like fun, as Songkran involves water, or all together water festivals, as it's celebrated with the throwing and sprinkling of water. Just like in Cambodian culture and on Cambodian New Year, water is blessing and acts as "medicine" to wash away bad luck and cleanse with good luck and blessing. And because of that, I also wanna kinda consider this as a Songkran-themed pic of Sonic and Mega Man.^^

As you can see, I gave Amy, Cream, and Alia sarongs/Cambodian/Southeast Asian New Year garbs. I know I should've like showcased Alia's sarong costume first in the Mega Man X DiVE style, but I was just eager of wanting to get this piece done while taking a little break from doing the Mega Man X DiVE style drawings, so that's that and there may be times where whenever I have plans for designing new X DiVE alternative costumes for the Mega Man characters I won't start off with a Mega Man X DiVE style drawing showcasing the new alternative costumes before doing something more with them like with Alia wearing a sarong garb I just designed for her here. And whenever I get to do her in her sarong in the X DiVE style, I'll likely fix some stuff on her like the patterns on her sarong and matching breadth, like I'm gonna try and make the rhombus patterns spread apart a little rather than keeping them almost clustered like here. Amy and Cream's celebratory garbs are OK tho, albeit Cream's is almost not visible at all because of her position in the drawing, but it's clear that she dons a light blue tank top with blue spaghetti straps and breath with yellow yarn at the ends, and a gold headband. I really love Amy's sarong I designed for her here, it suits her so well. And all three girls noticeably carry gold bowls filled with water, have gold ring bracelets around their wrists (although Cream's are not visible), bare hands (no gloves covering them or anything), and breadth/scarf over their garbs. As for Cheese, he is holding the lotus that is glowing. And the lotus I can't forget about is a very important symbol in the Cambodian New Year celebration, as it represents wisdom, enlightenment, purity, self-regeneration, resurrection, and rebirth.

Sorry to say that I'm honestly not 100% proud with how I did this piece since this is a group pic, but hope you like regardless. I've worked hard on this despite the flaws there may be. (✿◡‿◡) I'm still gonna be doing more of these themed drawings, next up being a redraw of one of my old ZeroxCiel drawings.^^
