Second Sonic Lunar New Year drawing, here's my Lunar Sage design. Oh! And btw (not in relation to this drawing) I did see the reveal teaser of the Sonic Generations remaster 'Sonic X Shadow Generations,' so the rumors ARE true after all circulating a remaster of 'Sonic Generations,' and as a huge Sonic fan since childhood, I of course screamed at that lol but DAMN I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT TO COME OUT IN AUTUMN THIS YEAR IT'S GONNA BE LIKE PLAYING 'GENERATIONS' ALL OVER AGAIN!!

Anyways, I planned on drawing Sage in a qipao for the Chinese New Year occasion prior, and I put up a poll deciding what colors should her qipao be, and like with her New Year kimono, the color choice is black with red edges like her signature color scheme, plus I feel like that color scheme is the easiest to implement on her, although at the same time (it depends on the outfit style) I wanna try and add in different colors as well. The design of Sage's qipao here is inspired by this Lunar Sage design , where Sage wears a traditional red and gold-colored qipao with a black robe or dress underneath and the qipao has like patterns that are reminiscent of the Ancients' symbols or something from 'Sonic Frontiers,' so I too added those symbols on my version albeit altering the symbols a little, and instead of keeping the underneath dress, Sage has on a red undershirt with gold sleeve ends (yep, still added the traditional red and gold colors), and for the leg and footwear, she has white stockings (like her New Year kimono) and black cotton shoes. Also, she wears a gold Koco hairpin to add some extra cuteness to Sage's Chinese look with the Koco.~

(When Sage turns white, her qipao will turn white with light blue edges, but the red and gold undershirt and black cotton shoes will stay the same)

So that's three alternative outfits I made for Sage: one is a Halloween costume (a grim reaper costume), the second is a kimono for [Japanese] New Year, and now this for Chinese New Year. SEGA, you better start giving her official alt. ><><><

But Sage still looks like a cutie with the qipao on omggggg~~~ (っ´Ι`)っ I also should draw her in her white form again too sometime!

And PS: Since this year is Year of the Dragon, look behind Sage, there's the Dragon Zodiac sign~
