But don't forget, the more media you use, the easier it is to use another (new) one.

You're most welcome. I'm a huge Star Wars fan and I saw Star Wars:Clone Wars, but I've only seen a couple of episodes from the show. I wish I would have watched it because the previews always look great.

Thank you! Bu you can't see the color of lightsaber really well *due to the scanner that hates neon pencil - I added some to make a glowing effect*. I use scanner *a rather old model to tell the truth* because with camera you get geometrical distortion. It's easier to fix colors to an acceptable level then fixing geometry. I drew this one with pastels *mostly seen on background*, watercolor pencil *but I didn't add water* and a bit of "neon" pencils (that bright "glowing" colors, not that it glows in the night) *but you can't see it well*.

Thank you! Actually it's half pastels, half pencils. It looks a bit smoother in reality - more like background. But the scanner destroys all the smoothness, especially when more pencils applied. Also you can't see the color of her lightsaber normally and reflected lights - scanner destroys neon pencils.

You don't like Lord of the Rings? I started reading it but stuck in the middle. I like the way Tolkien describes nature, traveling - but I read a translation of course, so I have no right to describe his style. Sometimes the book gets scary though... I couldn't fall asleep after some chapters so I had to read more chapters and felt sleepy in the morning because chapters are long.

Oh yes... I chapter and story are sooooo long and bored... I think it...
I think the characters are.. Empty, without emotion... "Run, kill, hide the ring, war".. Boh... I like story when autor describe how FEEL the character, their emotions, their fear... Like Elric of MelnibonΓ©... I'm in looove with this book because of it... I know, some piece of story are a looot filosofal, and I love this.
I like also Dragonlance, because is the fantasy like The Lord Of The Rings, but not arrogance like this last book...
Yes.. I consider LOTR so arrogance...

You just have to read LOTR as a legend, not as a story about characters but like a chronicle, and chronicle are rarely full of emotions. Yes it's long and boring sometimes... but it's more a description of the world, actions that took place... it's like we a have legend, we have a hero, but a real person is "dissolved" in a hero a little bit. That's why it's arrogant - like most of chronicles, legends of a certain land. If you watched a movie, remember the final of the 2nd movie when Sam says that people will make legends about them - so I guess it's one of the core-phrases about LOTR.

True, sometimes 'not our type' books are great for inspiration and developing our art... because we can learn things that we never thought about.
