Thank you! An old one. I put the link in the journal because a lot of new watchers might not see it before )

Thank you very much again!
Anyway, still thinking who will be on the next cover... ^___^
You know it's funny when you have an idea for a cover but can't use it because it would contain a spoiler )

Oh I see. Well I'm pretty sure you will make the right choice.
I thought these were to choose from so I chose this one.
I don't follow and read the books but all I know is you do an incredible job at this. Very talented and I am always impressed!

Thank you! I like asking people about covers... I usually do it using a poll, but I'm not a subscriber ))) Even if I don't draw a cover that people choose, I always listen... and maybe draw just a colorful artwork... and well, feedback is always important. But people seem to be very inactive recently.

I've noticed that too. Not sure what happened. A few friends have closed their accounts and some have removed me and vice versa.
Maybe time to start looking for more but I hate that part of weeding out the deadbeats after adding a few. 9 out of 10 will never look at your work after adding you.

I try to watch works of all the people I add. Even if they're just beginners and I added them because it's nice to talk to them.

So true! And there are a lot of people who start with really good works but they never look at anyone's art... and then their own art never develops.

Yes its sad. I am always all for supporting a community but when I realize its only a one way street I back away. I believe my work deserves to be looked at and if someone can't find anything in my gallery to favorite then I feel like that person hasn't looked hard enough. I think there must be something there worthy of a fave.

Same here. I try to follow the idea: if you give something, don't ask for anything back. But then you just get tired and bored of such "relationships". Because it's easier to have a reply from Madonna or Angelina Jolie or a president... than from some people.

I like his works, but then there was a period when he submitted almost no works at all... but he actually is one of those great artists who replies to you when you comment.
And his bike and sports related works are amazing!

I love how you use different colors to make up the dark brown hair. Great job.

Great job. It's kind of interesting to see an anime style colored in this media. It's not something you see that often.
The detail in the scarf is well-done.
How long did all that detail take?

fff
I think watercolor would have been pretty~
Though. On a piece like this, unnecessary? You probably couldn't have gotten all that scarf detail with watercolors (Though, I dunno. I dun know much about watercolors).
aaw. xD
I tried drawing a knitted scarf once. However, I had nothing to reference so the texture failed. :c -Has no need for a scarf because it's usually pretty warm here-

Ohdang. I missed that piece when I was looking through your gallery.
That's freaking beautiful.
fff I envy you. xD The only things I'm good with traditionally are pen and pencil.
-Just noticed you live in Russia-
Lol, yeah. I bet it is cold there. I can't even imagine. -Despises the cold- I'd rather be in the Sahara desert than slightly cold.

Lol, I know that feeling... xD
Oh, I suppose that's true. Russia's a huge country. Though, the whole thing's still pretty far north, far from the equator, isn't it? -Looks at a map-
And yeah, the US reeaally varies. The state I live in is very warm and kind of tropical in the south, while the north has tons of mountains and gets snow.

Yep, it's far from equator. I love mountains - must be cool live near them but the possibility of earthquakes are much higher - so everything has it's pros and contras. Which state do you live by the way if not a secret?

kairiko In reply to AngieVX [2010-06-05 23:20:20 +0000 UTC]
Isn't it generally the further you are from the equator the colder? Just out of curiosity how hot are the hot parts of Russia? xD
I live in Northern California, though not far enough to get snow. It's actually pretty nice because where I live is basically earth-quake proof, even though CA's kind of known for it's earthquakes. The soil's really sandy or something, so it absorbs any earthquakes that might happen around us (Or that's the explanation I was told anyway).

Lol, the only time I've been out of the US is on cruises, so I'm not even sure what the Bulgarian or Italian climate is suppose to be like. xD I'm assuming pretty warm?
California's pretty nice, especially where I live. I'm just a few hours away from everything. A few hours away from the beach, from the snowy mountains, from the forest, from the desert. Makes vacationing easy. xD
It's much nicer than the state I grew up in, Georgia. That place is just...hot and humid. xD Without the tropics.

Bacterias or chemicals? o___o
Scary. Sacramento (the city I live in) is supposedly one of the most polluted cities in the US if that makes you feel any better. xD

AngieVX In reply to kairiko [2010-06-06 08:36:06 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, it's because there's a lot of manufactures near the river. I don't think that pollution of some else place can make anyone feel better XD - after all we live on the same planet and it affects not only one place but the whole ecosystem.

Классно!))) Живое зимнее настроение. Особенно мне понравилась прорисовка шарфа и пушка на наушниках. Все в настроение, в тон )))
