Thank you, sorry for the latness of this reply being deployed over seas means less time on deviant.
I like your Sakura Sanzo character looks like an elf shinigami captain. But what really caught my eye was the effect you put into the hair, very nice.
If you really want to make your characters "POP" right off the page research these three things on youtube.
-Line weight
-Highlights, midtones, and shadows
-Clothing and fabric folds.

Once you've mastered these things you might consider moving on to other more challanging things like anatomy color theory and rythem and backgrounds. Or Not its up to you.
I think you have some potential. Keep drawing, with time and practice lies the key to great art.

Thank you so much! I honestly don't draw much anymore...It's been so long, that that character has a different name now: Shane Reynard. But thanks for the advice! I think if I sat and put enough time and effort in I could be a decent artist, but I put that time and energy into my writing instead, since that's my real passion.

I tried to match her expresssion with Ichio's expression when he lost control for the first time. Love Avatar as well. I wonder what did with Azula.

thank you for your comment. Lookl like your developing an interesting style yourself. The key to drawing is time observation and practice. you don't even need lessons if you have those three things. Keep up the good work and best of luck to you.

Yeah, don't get me wrong Rukia can bring on the pain, but I'm starting to think that Orihime could kick her ass six way passed Sunday!
I mean my god...well to her credit she did take down an Espada but that was a really week one and she almost died!
I think she could really use a hollowfication mask. Shoot if last weeks manga was any indicaiont I think it would be fair to say that Gin and Aizen have hollow masks. How far they have developed these masks I have no idea.

OH MY YES!!! ^_^ I PREY that it happens. I originally just wanted to do a portrait of Rukia but when I envisioned the mask I thought to myself WHOOOA!! That would be Uber kickass if it happened.
I mean come on she had the thing in her she could be a secret viazard.
