I'm trying to keep my paintings fun but this felt like it needed quite a bit of extra effort to get done in one day considering I only had few hours to pull it together. I remember being on a treadmill and just feeling anxious about getting back into my little town. I just love the feeling I get sometimes from a painting when it transports me to another place like this.No perspective lines or block in 3d models because I wanted to get that a bit loose shanty town kind of a vibe. I'm sure this town has dozens of pubs and dragon hunters with impressive scars on their faces.

This looks too even. The skyline pretty much follows a curve. With more height differences or more varying gaps between building it could become more interesting.

No it's just for show. There used to be a massive billboard but then the town hall had it replaced to attract tourism. It's not working towards that purpose either

Gosh dang it you keep making so many wonderful paintings and I need to favorite all of them they're so beautiful and amazing!! I adore the colors you use and this town has such a mood. I totally get the feeling of dragon hunters roaming the streets at night with the orange candlelight glowing out of the windows

This kinda makes me nostalgic of the time in gaming when there were towns and places to explore like this. Now everything needs to be gritty and realistic to justify the production costs.
(p.s. and yeah it has been a pretty productive 2 months for me[I take no credit and am just super grateful for the magical painting pixies for being so generous with me{thank you!}])

One of my favorite parts of art and fiction is that it doesn't need to be perfectly realistic. Sure, maybe it's more "advanced" or "quality" of it's flawed and gritty, but I like having somewhere to escape to my worlds of fantasy. I'm not really a gamer, but I can definitely feel how that'd be fun and peaceful.
