Description
I tend to try and spot interesting serial number patterns in paper money, esp if I happen across them while at work. The neat thing is I prepare in case I DO find something so I can swap it out with another bill.
Over the years, I found a few $1 bills where the number itself is a palindrome, but when the block lettering becomes part of it, that's a nice find, something you certainly don't see a lot. The fact that I found THREE over the years is incredible!
The first was the L-L note (Series 2009). That one was out of a fresh bundle of crisp, new bills, sequentially numbered. Luck of the draw, indeed!
The E-E (same series) was next, finding that a couple of years ago. That one may be the most worn of the three, but still a great find!
Then just a week or so ago, I found the D-D (Series 2017).
Each of these are in hard plastic two-piece holders. I should get more of these in case of other cool patterns and stuff!
