SPOILERS?on my first playthrough, my Shepard stayed faithful to Thane and chose synthesis. It seemed like a perfect ending for them ;_;

when I saw your art, my first though "well, this is awkward" but then I remembered comments under my pic, saying that "this was perfect ending for them!" or "that's why I went for synthesis!", so I guess I wasn't the only one who had this idea

Well, when Bioware doesn't give you the option for a happy ending with your romance, a heroic sacrifice is the next best thing. I guess? I suppose all our Sihas were just following Thane's example.

I actually chose to destroy the Reapers, but after Thane died I stopped my Margurite's playthrough and went on to my Garrusmance playthrough. Margurite just couldn't go on without Thane.

Yeah, I had to switch playthroughs to finish it. And the end ruined it for me, so it's sitting boxed up and I haven't touched it since.
No wait, I lie. I put it back in my PS3 to get my Margurite's facecodes for a pic Xenofire is doing for me. And THAT was the last time I touched it.
It very well could be in the fanbook already. I was away from my computer over the weekend because I was at the QLD National Dancesport Championships, and that took up all my time. Plus, raira is collecting the deviations, and I don't know what's there or not anymore. lol :S
But hey, I had to ask. This is perfect for it. It definitely inspires that bittersweet feeling that BW was going for and totally FAILED at.

i thought "WTF? what are you doing there? arent you dead with the others to the reaper laser?"

exactly! It was odd for my Shep because we weren't close at all. If it wasn't Thane, at least give me a picture of Garrus, who has been the rock behind Shepard through the games (the last two in particular)

This was the ending I chose for my Thane-faithful Shepard as well. I was hoping Bioware would have given us something like this in the game, but apparently that was too much effort.

I loved Mass Effect since I played the first game, but Thane was one of those things I was looking foward to see in ME3.
I think the most painful thing was, when after Thane's death, Shepard came back to the Normandy, and everyone was like "It's nice to have Ashely back!" and nobody even mentioned Thane :C

Też uważam, że to najlepsze zakończenie dla tej dwójki. Strasznie się wczułam w rolę mojej Shepard, a gdy Thane umierał po prostu się popłakałam. BioWare nie zadbało o szczęśliwe zakończenie, więc najlepszym wyjściem było ich ponowne spotkanie po śmierci.

a się zaklinałam, przed wyjściem ME3, że jeśli Thane nie umrze, to będę głęboko zawiedziona, bo rozum podpowiadał mi, że cudowne uzdrowienie byłby "nieklimatyczne". Co nie zmieniło faktu, że jak tylko umarł, to miałam ochotę nie wychodzić z łóżka przez tydzień i żywić się tylko lodami.
I tak, jak tylko moja Shepard rzuciła się w promień, moją pierwszą myślą było "Przynajmniej Thane na nią czeka" ;_;

when Thane died, I lost will to finish the game :c
I thought that my Shep would feel the same, like "what's the point? everyone will die anyway" so when I could choose to sacrifice only her... well, it seemed like a good idea

I do hope that she is the only one: I hope BioWare will clarify the situation with Turians and Quarians - they say that no one starves, but so far it doesn't seem logical.

i sumbled on one theory about synthesis, that it, somehow, makes turians and quarians compatibile with the other races... or something like that :T
well, hopefully that DLC in the summer will answer if not all, then at least some of the ridiculous questions
