First, I'd like to say that I know Anastasia is NOT a Disney movie, but I'd still like to incorporate her and other non-Disney ladies in my series.This outfit would be from around 1926, since the first part of the movie takes place in 1916 and the rest ten years later. I'd like to think of her going dancing somewhere in Paris. I didn't want to do a typical flapper outfit and I also wanted to avoid my Anastasia looking to much like my Tiana. Then I found this amazing outfit by Callot Soeurs! mrandladymarycrawley.tumblr.co… (Just google the name and you'll find so many great dresses!
) This dress inspired me the most and it already had the colors that I intended for Anastasia, almost the same as she wears during the ball in the beginning of the movie.The shoes are based on golden Lilley Skinner shoes and the crown is based on the one she wears at the end of the movie. Behind Anastasia I drew the necklace she received from her grandmother and since I didn't know what colors to use in the background, I just picked the Russian flag. I'm not sure how happy she'd be with it, but I like the colors

I wonder what Anna Anderson (a.k.a Franziska Schanzkowska), the famous imposter who claimed to be "Anastasia" would be wearing something like that after her infamous first appearance at the Landwehr Canal in Berlin, Germany in February 1920.

Anastasia, die film moet ik nog steeds een keer kijken... Ik weet niet waarom, af en toe word ik er weer aan herinnerd door dingen zoals dit maar toch komt het er nooit van
Dusja, geen idee hoe Anastasia is of hoe ze zou reageren op zo'n outfit, maar het ziet er in ieder geval goed uit!
