Yaay, it's finally finished!
Anne Boleyn strolling through the hallways of perhaps the Palace of Placentia.
I had looked at several portraits of Anne and combined all kind of elements into this picture. I've tried to keep it as historicaly correct as possible, but I'm not 100% sure it is, so please keep that in mind.
The left flag or shield is the royal Coat of Arms of the Tudors. Next to it, you can see Anne's arms as queen consort.
I spend quite some time at this one. As a history student, I wanted it to be perfect and I hope I did a good enough job. I even put quite some effort in the background (especially if you compare it to my other works

Hm......know this is completely off topic, but, whom was the queen of Spain during the time of Christopher Columbus? Why that question came to my mind, I have no idea. XD

That was Queen Isabella I of Castile, she was married to Ferdinand II of Aragon

Without books and internet around, I think I know the most about Tudor-England. I've seen so many movies and documenatries from that period

I've only seen the BBC series 'Henry VIII and his six wives' from the 70's and that was really good. I've heard about that new series, but I've only seen one or two screenshots. But what I've seen was bad and totally historically incorrect.

I was just wondering what wasn't historically good. I loved the serie but I'm a newbie in my learning about this period, I know it was historically incorrect in some ways but which ones ?

Well, as I said, I haven't watched it. I only saw some screenshots. But for one the clothes are wrong. But the clothing is also wrong in The Other Boleyn Girl. There you can see bright green dresses, but in that time most clothes were very dark like black or brown.

Je kent Anne Boleyn niet?? Tweede vrouw van koning Henry VIII van Engeland, een tijdje koninging van Engeland en natuurlijk de moeder van Elizabeth I. Helaas werd ze onthoofd wegens hekserij, hoogverraad, incest en vreemdgaan... en dankzij haar is de Church of England ontstaan, maar daar zit weer een heel ander verhaal achter *is a history nerd and loves it*
