Guhhh, I feel like such a junkie now for posting so much so quickly. I guess this is the effect of writer's block combined with lack of World of Warcraft. Shows you where my priorities lie, I guess. Anyway.

I had a little too much fun trying to get the shading right on Dash's jeans to show off his a---err...butt, his butt. Yeah. I still don't like his (Dash's) hair; I had a love/hate relationship with Tucker's boots. I realize I've never drawn them before, and they have the possibility to be so kick ass. Huh. I don't have 'em quite down yet, tho. Something to work on.

Also, this is actually a scene from my Dash/Tucker fanfiction "Simple Physics!" It is therefore semi-spoilerific, I suppose, although since I'm not going to tell you exactly what's going on...maybe not so much? It's pretty early on in chapter twenty-one.

Excerpt:

He spotted Tucker immediately – huddled under the overhang at the front of the building with his back to a wall and arms tucked tightly around him, the only human being in sight – and he pulled to an immediate stop, practically tripping in his haste to get out and leaving his keys in the ignition in the process.

“What…” Dash started as soon as he made it within earshot, “…the he-” but then his arms filled with a soaked, shaking body, and the words died in his throat. Heart leaping out of its own accord, his whispers of “Hey, hey…” and “…shh…” were instinctive, compulsive murmurs as his arms wound their way around his boyfriend’s smaller, quivering figure, and his pulse hurt in his throat as he fit his palm to the small of Tucker’s back, catching his other arm around his shoulders and tangling his fingers in the cold, wet braids at his neck. “Tucker, baby…” he barely spoke the words aloud, “…what happened?” and Tucker closed trembling fingers in the fabric of his shirt, shaking his head against his chest.

“N-noth…nothing,” he lied so obviously. “I…just…you…” He swallowed, shuddering in Dash’s hold as he tucked his head under his chin, close enough for Dash to feel the outline of his glasses’ frames through his shirt. “You…made it…”

Hmm. Yup. And you can just guess what's going on around this. Also, to anyone not reading the story, I do not make a habit of making Tucker clingy and shaky and/or otherwise emasculating him. This is a pretty rare moment for him, you'll just have to trust me.

One of these days I'm gonna have to finally buck up and try to draw a kiss scene.......yeah, I'll meditate on that.
