Interesting Details: In retrospective, Venator is probably what led me to the furry fandom. He was the first changeling character that I wanted to have wielding a sword, and since changelings typically don't wear clothes with most of their transformations, I needed a design that was bipedal, but 'technically' not naked. Hence, I gave Venator an anthropomorphic form, which then led me to further explore the idea of anthro characters.
Side note: I'm so relieved that I've finally drawn a decent picture of Venator after so long. For those who don't know, my original username on DA was Vesanus-Venator, and he was certainly my favorite character for a long time. He might not be my top character now, but he is still in the top seven. Honestly, I don't think I would have finished my first novel had I not 'found' Venator. In a sense, I almost feel indebted to him. Thank you, Vesanus Venator.
