I love this, it's amazing. There's the perfect amount of blue sky to balance out the composition and you really pulled attention to that one stalk or grain.

macro photographs tend to blurr objects which are farer away..if you use this well itΒ΄s even kind of an own style of photography and called bokeh.

This is probably the pic IΒ΄ve worked the most on in photoshop ^^
It was taken with my old camera and I had to cut out the party I wanted to have the focus on and soften the other parts ^^
That took the most time but now I have a better one ^^

Beautiful work with the DoF! Though I think that if you had kept the entirety of your subject in focus (the tip of the grain stalk is blurry) it would've been more striking. Love the subject choice! It's a beautiful piece : )
