PS Yes, this is my new doll. :3 My B&G Sky. His name is Shane and hopefully I'll put up better pictures of him soon. I did his faceup myself, it was a first try... Not bad, but not great either. I hope to redo it within the next few months or so.

Thank you! The pants, I think I got at Dollmore... The white vest is something my friend made and the black shirt I bought at the dollheart store here in LA when it was still the Elfdoll showroom... I don't know what brand it is, sorry. D:

My first face up was a disaster...

This one was too in a way... It was a cold day and I didn't realize that would mean it'd take longer for the gloss to dry... His head rolled onto a blanket and his lips ended up really fuzzy. D; I had to erase them and do them over...
There's still a lot of dust and stuff stuck in his faceup... Once I get another can of sealant, I'm gonna try again.

I won't even mention what took place the day I attempted to do my own face up for the first time. In short, I ended up shooting an emergency call to my Aunt, who custom paints resin horses and uses pretty much all the same materials we do and she saved my life (well, my doll's face). *sigh* I think I may have just overreacted because I'm so unconfident about doing things myself. I was so sure I was going to ruin his little face D:
Fortunately, I haven't given up yet. I don't like my face ups, but I'm really improving with every one I do.

Yeah... I think I got over the whole over reacting bit before I did a faceup since Kome's character has so many tattoos and so when I got him, the first thing I had to do was research how to do tattoos on him. First ones sucked... His present ones are the best I've done... but his half-sleeve is chipping slightly. >\ And I still don't look forward to redoing it.
