So I finally properly did Shane's faceup, freckles and all. My friend helped me do his lower liner cause on my first try, I botched it. Completely. Redid his faceup in the same night 'cause I couldn't stand to look at him. sadhjksjdl Thankfully I think he's going to stay like this for awhile. I might try to darken the pastel around his eyes a bit... but That's for another day.Sculpt: B&G Sky

I did his freckles with very watered down acrylic. Just made little dots with a very small brush and then pressed a washcloth against them before they dried to lighten them.
As for the shiny parts - I just used tamiya gloss. D:

This one cost just about $400. He's about 2 feet tall though. Smaller ones are cheaper. But you'd still be looking at spending at least $100 usually for most dolls. Clothes really depends on if you're lucky and where you like to shop. Some clothes are designer made (ex. dollheart) and some of their outfits cost almost $200.
The forum Den of Angels has a marketplace you can gain access to once you're a member long enough and most people there sell a wide range of clothes for cheaper prices. Things you'll definitely need after you get the doll would probably just be mr. clean magic sponges which are relatively cheap at the grocery store and the price of a faceup (the makeup on the face) if you aren't going to try it yourself. Good faceup artists normally charge 25$+. Companies charge around $60+.

I had the wig made by someone on DoA for his character. Elena I think is her username. And her shop is called Spite & Malice. You can pick whatever colours you want and she'll make it. :3

You did. XD 'Cept after I sealed him and went to gloss, his right side went all runny. But I fixed it up with some extra thinner. It looked like he had mascara running. XD

That took me a second, I didn't know what you meant. XD They're moles. He has three around his chin, one on the side of his nose, and a couple by his eyebrows, but you can't see those because of his hair.
