You do realize that the journal was written by Ford, the guy who had serveral encounters with Bill and traveled through dimensions for 30 years ? It was also stated to be canon to the show, by Gravity Falls' creator himself, Alex Hirsch. Also, Time Baby is a 4th dimensional being which already makes him atleast Universal+ and Bill one shotted him with no difficulty at all

wtf do RPG mechanics have anything to do here with ? Anyways, the higher character is in dimensional scaling, the more powerful he is than the lower dimensional beings. If you destroy a timeline, then you are 4th Dimensional, and if you creat infinite Multiverse, then you're 5D. 4D Beings are infinitly more powerful than 3D ones (which Discord is)

Bill losing was a PIS (Plot induced stupidity) and if he wanted, he could've destroyed the entire town immediatly and moved on, but if he did it, he would've been stuck in Gravity Falls forever because Stanford is the only one who knows how to break the magic barrier sorrounding the town which doesn't let Bill escape and use his full potential. I never said that 4D is omnipotent in 3D space, they're just much and I mean MUCH stronger than 3D beings. And 2D beings are only plane level, and that's even less than a regular human level. And Bill burned the entire 2nd dimension and ascended to higher dimension. If a 2D being is as powerful as a regular human, then it becomes 3D

I'd say Bill lost do to CIS.
Bill never escaped Graviry falls a 3D place he never actually ascended beyond being 3D.
So in “your interpretation” a 2d being as powerful as a regular human would become 3d how about a 2d being as powerful as an ant or an amoeba, or a being with nearly unlimited power but it’s limited one layer of 2d space it could sever the bounds of atoms passing through its plane of existence and still be confined to a single layer of 2d space.
Take Valentine Smith from ‘Stranger in a Strange Land’. He had the ability to move things at a 4th dimensional angle essentially erasing them from the 3d space they were occupying. Now pit him against Frieza from DBZ someone with no 4D powers at least not in BDZ, but vastly faster and stronger. Unless Frieza just sites there and lets Valentine dimension shift him Valentine is skewed.
