This has been a busy summer. I got my driver's license, I visited a few colleges that I'm too poor to go to, my dog had surgery, I went to Saratoga, I saw my favorite uncle/cousin/aunt for the first time in almost two years, I finally got to visit Erica, and, last week, my computer died.So now I'm on a new computer and just got Flash back. This is the first thing I've drawn on it. It started out as just fanart for a character I liked on The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, but then I got caried away. XP
At the moment, I'd say either '
un Times with Punsie McKale' or 'Mechanical Genie Island' is my favorite episode. Pun Times probably wins because I got to watch it with Erica AND it's created a most likely one-shot character I've been obsessing over for nearly two weeks.THAT SAID, I DEMAND MORE PUNSIE. How much of him is a demon and how much of him is just a very dedicated comedian? What's he doing now that puns are out? And why am I having such a hard time figuring out who his voice actor is? I get the feeling it was Billy West...

A while ago I saw a blog by someone who worked on the later episodes of Flapjack, and there was a crowd scene that had a frowning Punsie in it. I like him a lot better smiling. XD

I've been telling Flapjokes nonstop since I started watching the show. XD I think my friend is more like Punsie than I am, though, because he literally can't stop smiling. I was under the impression he was living the high life and then I recently found out he's hated the last three years of his life. MIND BLOWN.

But the episode is awesome. D: Puns that actually take thought, an interesting new character, funny visual gags, some refreshing Peppermint Larry and Flapjack interaction, and a fantastic horror scene to top it all off? How can people take such a well constructed episode for granted?

I respect your opinion, but although puns take thought, they just don't make me laugh, i always figured puns were used to make people groan, so with a whole episode with them flying by with no time for them to actually sink in and be funny. I found punsie and the puns annoying, and I prefer episodes with humor that is a little less pun based and a little more slapstick/awkward moments and weirdness/adventure based, like footburn or how the west was fun, instead of a bunch of puns that don't really amount to that much.

But the fun is going back and finding all the puns you missed. There are a lot of puns in that episode that I didn't even notice. It took me three watches to realize Punsie told Larry to kill himself. XD

I love how much detail you put into this and how it looks exactly like punsie from that scene.
The shadowing and all gives it that dark and slightly off-putting feeling that most viewers probably felt (or at least the ones that appreciate the show)
Oh, you may have already found this, but I found that Punsie was voiced by S. Scott Bullock, but Billy West did do a few different voices in this episode.
