Here's the first of a set of 13 monsters I created for Halloween this year. I thought I'd start off with a classic monster, a vampire!
Lord Balthazar, once a noble knight until power and pride corrupted him, leading him to slaughter one of his fellow knights in a fit of rage. For his crimes, Balthazar was stripped of his knighthood and banished from the kingdom he faithfully served, and wandered into a cursed land where vampires preyed upon him and turned him into one of their own. It wasn't long until he ascended their ranks and became their Blood-Drinking Lord, and now his eyes of conquest fall on the kingdom he once protected...
