Love Foxy! They made (what?) two cartoons with him? "Smile Darn Ya, Smile" (1932) is the one I have on a VHS tape from the 80's...OmG...seems almost as long ago as 1932...

Foxy, one of the early black 'n' white toons from the time known as "The Age of the Mickey Mouse Rip-Offs". During that time numerous studios were trying to bank on the success of Mickey Mouse and created characters that were almost carbon-copies just with a few minor details changed.

Very true, although like many others, Foxy failed. Although the cartoon 'Smile darn ya smile' with him driving a trolley cart is pretty much a rip off of both Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit's cartoon 'Trolley Troubles'. Talk about double felony XD
