A picture I did for my best friend's boyfriend's birthday. It's my best friend as Prince Adam from He-Man and his boyfriend as Anakin from Star Wars. I'm very happy to say both love the pic.Hand drawn and then colored in photoshop.

I'm not happy with how the background interacts with the forground... but other then that i have to say this is looking prety damn awsome!!! This gives me some ideas to do some idea's of my own

Thank you. The background was done somewhat quickly and is what my friend wanted, so I did it that way. Had I had the time,I would have done the background from scratch instead of just manipulating a photo.

MAN you are good o.o
The pose for both characters is lovely and He-Man doesnt look as beefy as the original character - Which i personally prefer: gimme a lean-yet-cut body anyday
As for the background, well..... I hate you. XD Im struggling with this picture right now to give it a simple background and I cant even manage that - This forest bg is rather complex and you did it perfectly! The blurryness really brings out the main characters ^_^

Prince Adam isn't as beefy as He-Man (at least not in the new cartoon, since Prince Adam is 16), but I also wanted it to look lik emy friend, and he is a dancer, so he is toned, but not built like a truck. I think it truned out well for me not having a lot of practice with drawing guys.
As for the background, it's actually a picture of a forest that I tweaked in photoshop to make it look how I wanted. So I guess I kinda cheated there, but it works pretty well I think. Hope I didn't burst your bubble.

I love their postures and faces, they look great. I bet Adam's left leg was particularly hard, but you really managed to convey a sense of length even though his knee points straight to the "camera". There seems to be something strange about the pespective, because the the blanket and the weapon sort of seem to float in mid-air. But that's just a minor thing, overall, great picture!

Thank you very much. Adam's leg was hard, I have 2 pages of sketches of just that leg, lol. As for tehb "floating" thing. I think it's the background that makes them look like they are floating. I think I may need to darken up the shadows that are cast on the ground to help 'ground' the characters.
