After looking at different opinions and chatting with =KirbyMeister , I don't know how to react to all of this. Some people think it's a conspiracy or DA's going corporate. Others are suspicious about whether this entire thing is a big hoax or not. I'm confused, and I'm sure I'm missing several obvious answers to questions like "Why did this happen?" I do want some more information, but I don't know what questions to ask or where to start interrogating... But apparently, there are legal issues that are keeping the staff from telling us at the moment. $spyed has a journal in response to all of this: [link]

Ack, and don't forget about . (thank you!) pointed out that he was also one of the creators of deviantArt. Things haven't been going well for him, either...

Here's the plan that everyone's talking about: Stop everything, no comments, no deviations, no journals on DA's birthday. Have the site come to a halt. Leave it in a sea of yellow aliens until jark is returned to his rightful place as the head of community development. Although, I would like to point out that since jark and matteo created the site, I'm sure that they would like to see it still flourishing with artwork...

So, in the end, I decided that even though I don't know the guy personally, I do want jark back. What happened wasn't fair to him, and I'm sure that he did not deserve to get sacked. Not only that, but I want deviantART back to as it was before this whole fiasco happened. If things keep going as it is, DA will be in serious trouble.

I'm just going to stand back and watch this thing take its course. I'm not a well-known deviant here, and I doubt I'll turn any heads, but I'm for getting jark back and getting answers. Until then, I think I'll just take a break from submitting any more stuff for a little while and hope for the best.

I have a feeling something big is going to happen on August 7th. But it could be just me...
