Description
"A photo pic... Something kinda candid, showing their personalities and the like?" So I gave it a shot.
Near has a loose tooth. L suggests chewy taffy and such to help wiggle it out. Mello wants to tie it to the nearest doorknob and slam the door shut. Near is... relatively fearful of the second idea.(Sorry, I've been having trouble drawing L lately... @_@;; )

Not really... I kind of have an idea for a picture, like having him sort through a whole bunch of Kira case information, but I have no idea how I'd lay it out...
The problem is that with L, you're limited to stuff either during the case or pure speculation on what he did before Kira came along... Whereas with Mello and Near you have a lovely five-year blank in which you have a vague idea of their actions and thoughts. ._. Or at least that's my excuse for why I draw a complete blank when trying to come up with L stuff. Though I did get a new idea recently... Must work on Obscure Orphanage though...

Those poor people have been waiting so long. T_T I feel so horrible, and yet... it's been so hard for me to write recently. (Maybe because it's going to be a boring chapter? Oh noes! D: )

Well, basically it's L during the entire Kira case. He'll choose paths (Light and Misa as Kira), but he'll come to dead ends (Light gives up Death Note for a while). Finally, he'll make it to the exit, only to find that he's even more lost... (ch. 58, was it?) Uh oh. 8D The coolness of the idea dropped sixty percent after I explained it.
I know how you feel. ;__; Well, I think you should plow through the chapter first. Quickly type the whole thing and disregard the crappiness. Get all the main points down. Then edit and refine like crazy.

Yup, that's what I finally started doing last weekend, after a month or two of putting it off. I'm taking the advice of Anne Lamott and writing a "sh*tty first draft." XD (Her book Bird by Bird is amazing; I definitely recommend it.)
