Buckbeak is one of my favorite customs I have made but has been one of my most stressful ponies.He was originally a commission but while sending him overseas customs wasn't so nice to him and he was broken when he arrived to the commissioner. I offered to fix him and return him to her but she refused and told me just to resell him and refund her.
So he will be up for auction (Ebay) on Monday.
He was my last custom I made with super sculpy but his repairs were made with apoxie.
His tail was rehaired with Dollyhair saran Raven Black and Silver Bullet.
He also won 1st place at the Kentucky meet in the sculpted category.

I was thinking about making a toy Buckbeak for my nephew, so I searched for images to make sure I got the details right.
One of the images that came up was your custom Buckbeak pony. It is so amazing! You are very talented! Thanks for keeping the photos up (I see that you created him years ago). I just want to let you know that your work made me smile & inspires me as an artist.

That is a wonderful Hippogriff that you have. I know that someone would snatch it up quickly and give him a good home. Don't let it get to you and if you have her account just ban it for further commissions.

oh he looks just amazing. Just wonderfully done. Your probably really proud of this one. God those feathers must have been just "fun" to do. I did a pheonix scultpture, each feather done by hand, in the end it was as big as both my hands, so i really appreciate amd understand the time and effort you put into this. looks lovely

Sometimes people are just not happy no matter what. It's not YOUR fault Buckbeak was broken. Regardless of what happened Amy, this guy is gorgeous. Wonderful work as usual!
